Ruby is a black and tan coonhound who is about three years old. She is very loving and playful. She needs a home where she can run and play with kids, adults or other dogs.

Shiloh seemed to know that we were rescuing her and you could tell by her demeanor she was extremely grateful. She adjusted immediately to the kids, dogs, and cats. She is a very calm dog until she thinks you are taking her for a walk which is her new favorite past time. She is doing very well on the house training and is crate trained. She is a very quiet dog. She isn't crazy about going for a ride in the car because I think she believes you are taking her back to the shelter. She is 2-3 years old.

Lamont is a gorgeous dark chocolate colored Lab mix (possibly some American Bulldog?). He is a young guy who was running as a stray. Both he and his companion were heartworm positive when they came to us. Lamont has been treated though will be ready for his new home after he is neutered the 2nd week in October. As you can see, he's good with kids. He's also good with other dogs. He's got a passive personality, and he's full of energy and life!

ADOPTED!

Thunder was abandoned by his owners. When they moved, they just left him there! For over a week Thunder walked to the school bus stop, waiting each day for his "kids" to get off the bus and come home. They never did. When we heard about him we took him, and his loyalty is now being rewarded in his new home. And yes, we made sure he has kids!
