Dog
Adoptions Page 1
Many
of the dogs listed on our site are at local shelters where they
run the risk of their time running out. Because we can't take
every dog in need, we try to spotlight them here on our website
so they get more exposure, and hopefully permanent homes.
We
rely on foster care for dogs while looking for permanent home
for them. If you or anyone you know are interested in fostering,
please contact Victoria King at 502-859-5342, info@hollys.org

Maggie
is a 3 year old small rottie mix (about half the size of a pure-bred
rottie). She is housetrained, good with kids, cats, and other
dogs. Her person moved to a place where she could only keep Maggie
outside, and since Maggie has always been a house dog, she thought
it would be better to find her an indoor home.
Maggie
has just been diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in her mouth. So
we are currently not seeking a home for her, but we do need help
with her vet bills.

Beau
is an incredibly sweet and well-behaved coonhound mix. He's already
housetrained, is calm, and good with other dogs. This boy was
found running down a busy street and we were really surprised
that we never found his guardian. Who would give this guy up?
He bonds easily and is very loyal. He is about 3 years old.

Josie is a yellow lab/St.
Bernard mix who was adopted out, but had to be returned when her
owner developed a serious medical condition. She is housetrained
and does well with other dogs, cats, and kids! She's a very, very
loyal companion.
