Sundance is a 5 year old manx. His owners moved away 4 years ago and the neighbors have been feeding him ever since. However, one neighbor was no longer happy with his presence, so he is now in foster care with us.

Akela is a very special boy. We've saved his life a couple of times now. Because he's still feral, perhaps we should have put him on the "special needs" pages. But we are hoping that someone will see him and his cute little white toes here on the main pages and decide to give him a chance. He will NOT hurt a person or another cat, no matter what anyone does to him. He is absolutely passive. But he really doesn't want to be touched yet. Happy showed up at a farm with some major injuries. His back leg was broken and had to be amputated, and he had a hole in his side, where he then developed a hernia. He has one more surgery to go through to fix the hernia, but he should be ready for a forever home by February 2007.. Happy was renamed because he was just so happy - even while he was on cage rest. He loves other cats and wins everyone over.

Emma is a beautiful orange buff, medium length hair female now in foster care with us. She is very sweet and loving, approximately 2 years old. Note: Emma is now on an insulin blocker, and will have to be for the rest of her life. Update: due to her condition, and numerous other health issues she has developed, Emma has become a "permanent resident" here.

Baby Girl is a permanent resident here. She had many health problems when first rescued, and some of them require constant treatment. She is a real sweetheart with a Greta Garbo - complex!
